Cracked Paved Roads
By Jean-Bertho Almonord
I used to walk to school in the mornings in Haiti.
The roads were cracked and paved.
I would have to hop to the dirt roads from the paved roads.
Worse yet, when it rains, the dirt roads were slippery and muddy.
Running children can seriously hurt themselves with a fall on these roads.
I wonder shouldn't the government be more responsive to these issues.
How does a nation bring about change when it is in a position that is simply too low?
